Dream Drummer closed his eyes and started to think real hard about the place he wanted to visit. Imagination, what a thing to have, he thought. Suddenly a moonbeam came swishing by close and stopped right in front of him. 'Is this going to be my invitation to the Land of Imagination', he thought? It must be. He knew that all he had to do now, was think hard to where he wanted to go and the moonbeam would take him there. Dream Drummer stepped unto the moonbeam, his eyes closed, thinking about this enchanted place of his imagination and off he went, straight out into space. He flew across the solar system he knew so well and with such great speed that in no time at all he entered into a nebula he never had heard off. The colors of the moonbeam kept changing rapidly and so did the colors all around him. He wondered if this was the Land of Imagination already? But there was nothing solid to step on. Everything looked like colored light around him. He wondered if he should imagine Land beneath him? Green grass, trees, hills, rocks, rivers, lakes and oceans? Suddenly everything changed around him and what he had just thought of was right beneath him. Yes indeed, this must be the Land of Imagination! Dream Drummer wondered what would happen if he would think of water? He did not wanted to swim all the way through this land. 'It could happen', he thought, 'I better not do this'.' He started to simply imagined a lake, rivers and little creeks and brooks and suddenly they appeared out of no where. Still standing on the moonbeam, he figured it would be best to imagine that this was a permanent place, no matter what else he would be thinking off. He needed to be sure that the ground beneath him would not be gone once he started to venture out. Then carefully he stepped off the moonbeam and tied it to the nearest tree. When he wanted to go back, he would need to find the moonbeam. A loose moonbeam could disappear and not be found again. How would he be able and go back home then? His friends would most certainly not find him because it would be impossible since each of his friends had a different imagination. So Dream Drummer made sure that he had a way back home.
